Our wonderful client kindly sends Hitomi Law Office the freshest beautiful apples from Aomori Prefecture at this time of year.
日本のりんご生産の約６割が青森県産の青森りんごです。
Aomori Prefecture accounts for about 60% of Japan’s apple production.
青森県のりんご栽培面積は日本一、品種も豊富です。
Aomori boasts the largest cultvation area in Japan and there are many kinds of delicious apples produced in the region.
青森りんごの歴史は明治時代に遡ります。かつての武士たちの雇用を支えるため、日本中で果物栽培が盛んになったのです。
The history of Aomori apples goes back to the Meiji era(1868-). To avoid the unemployment among former samurai, fruit cultivation was planned nationwide.
The Japnaese governmet provided three wester apple saplings to Aomori in 1875, and this is said to be the beginning of Aomori apples.
明治８年（１８７５年）、日本政府は３本の苗木を青森県に配布しました。これが、青森りんごの始まりとされています。
Fuji is the most produced variety of apple which accounts for about half of Aomori’s apple production.
青森県のりんご生産のおよそ半分は、『ふじ』という品種のりんごです。
Fuji apples have a pleasant testure and are my favorite. They have a good balance of sweetness and tartness, and the Sun Fuji variety is grown without the use of protective bags and it grows in the sun. They are so sweet and juicy.
私はシャキシャキした食感が好きなので、ふじが大好きです。甘さと酸味のバランスが抜群で、サンふじは文字通りsun（太陽）の下で袋かけなしに育ちます。甘くてとてもジューシーなおいしさになります。

先週「わたし生活保護を受けられますか」本と共に東京・永田町にある衆議院議員会館河野太郎事務所へ行ってきました。
Arriving at Tokyo station, there were several empty taxis in front of the station so we grabbed one. Even though Tokyo has an efficient public trasportation network, it’s mostly crowded in the evening.
東京駅に着くとタクシーがわりと待機していたので、タクシーで国会議事堂へ。東京は公共交通ネットワークが高度に発達しているとはいえ、夕方の時間帯は混雑します。
