As January 1st is a public holiday in Japan, most of other Gyoseishoshi or Lawyer’s offices tend to remain closed until January 3rd for New Year’s holidays, but our Hitomi Law Office is open all year round.

１月１日は祝日なので、多くの行政書士や弁護士事務所は１月３日まで年末年始休暇です。
行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所は年中無休です。

On January 1st every year, we typically travel to our local Shitennoji Temple located near Tennnoji station and also our Hitomi Law office for hatsumoude.

元日の恒例。天王寺駅近く、行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所の地元・四天王寺へ、毎年初詣に参ります。

Let’s walk and explore Shitennoji Temple together on this blog! This year, we had the chance to go there in the early morning on January 1st.

このブログで、一緒に四天王寺を歩いてみましょう。令和六年元日は、早朝に四天王寺を歩きました。

新年を健康的な朝の散歩から始めると、一年を通してがんばる活力を得られそうな気がします。四天王寺まで歩くのは例年のこと、元日の朝はあまり車も人もなく、道中は近所の方を少し見かける程度です。

Starting a new year with a healthy walk may give us more energy throughout the year. It’s our annual routine to walk to Shitenno-ji temple and we don’t see many cars or people, only a few neighbors.

でも、今年はなんだか、すれ違う人も車も自転車も、コロナ禍の数年と比べ増えました。外国人観光客の方も近隣の民泊やホテルに多く泊まっているようです。

However, this year, we saw more people, cars and bicycles compared to before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Inter national visitors in Japan are staying hotels or minpaku (minpku means staying at someone’s home) around here.

今から1400年以上も前に創建された日本仏法最初の官寺（かんじ）四天王寺は、大阪の中心地にあります。行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所天王寺支店から徒歩５分ほどです。

The Shitennnoji Temple, the oldest Buddhist Temple in Japan, first built over 1400 years ago, is in the heart of Osaka. From our Hitomi Law Office Tennnoji Branch, it takes only about 5 minutes or so by walk.

元日の午後４：１０、マグニチュード７．６の巨大地震が日本列島を襲いました。多くの建物が破壊され、火災、津波も発生し、被災地の海岸沿いの地域の方々は避難を余儀なくされました。

A 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck central Japan on the New Year’s day at 4:10 p.m., collapsing buildings, causing fires and triggering tsunami alerts, prompting orders for residents to evacuate affected coastal areas of Japan.

今回の能登地方の地震のエネルギーはマグニチュード７．６、これは、広島型原爆の約２５１倍のエネルギーです。

The energy of this earthquake in the Noto region was magnitude 7.6, which is approximately 251 times the energy of the Hiroshima atomic bomb.

官寺とは、国家による経済保障を受け建設された寺院のこと。四天王寺は日本で最初の官寺の一つとされています。

Kanji means the temple which is financially supported and constructed by the country.
Shitennnoji Temple is regarded as one of Japan’s first Kanji.

四天王寺は、５９３年に建立（こんりゅう）されました。聖徳太子は仏教の興隆（こうりゅう：勢いが盛んになること）に努めました。

It was founded in 593 by Prince Shotoku. He supported the introduction of Buddhism into Japan.

日本は昔から世界有数の地震大国で、国土面積が世界の０．２５%であるにも関わらず、マグニチュード６以上の地震発生回数は世界の１７．９%を占めています。これは、日本の位置が要因です。

Japan has long been one of the world’s most earthquake-prone countries, and even though its land area is 0.25% of the world’s, the number of earthquakes with a magnitude of 6 or higher accounts for 17.9% of the world’s. This is due to Japan’s location.

日本周辺では、太平洋プレートやフィリピン海プレートが、陸のプレートの方へ１年あたり数cmの速度で動いています。

Around Japan, the Pacific plate and the Philippine Sea plate are moving toward the land plate at a speed of several centimeters per year.

太平洋プレートやフィリピン海プレートが陸のプレート下に沈み込んでいるため、日本周辺では複数のプレートによって複雑な力がかけられています。そのため、日本は古くから、世界でも有数の地震多発地帯となっているのです。

Because the Pacific Plate and the Philippine Sea Plate are subducting beneath the land plate, complex forces are exerted by multiple plates around Japan. As a result, Japan has been one of the most earthquake-prone areas in the world.

１９９５年１月１７日に発生した「阪神・淡路大震災」はマグニチュード７．３、震度７で、国内観測史上初めて震度７を観測した地震として日本中に大きな衝撃を与えました。

The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, which occurred on January 17, 1995, had a magnitude of 7.3 and a seismic intensity of 7.It was the first earthquake in the history of domestic observation to have a seismic intensity of 7, and had a huge impact on Japan.

当時、大阪にいた私も縦揺れの強い衝撃で目が覚め、経験したことのない恐怖を感じたのを記憶しています。

I was in Osaka at the time, and I remember being woken up by the strong impact of the vertical tremor, and feeling a fear I had never experienced before.

周囲の古い家屋の壁には大きな亀裂が入り、その衝撃を目の当たりにしました。

I witnessed the impact as large cracks appeared in the walls of the surrounding old houses.

日本では、この大地震の翌年である１９９６年４月以降、計測震度計により自動的に観測されることになりました。それほど、後世に大きな影響を与えたのです。

In Japan, earthquakes have been automatically observed using seismic intensity meters since April 1996, the year after this major earthquake. It had such a great influence on future generations.

The Rokuji-do, Worship Hall of Shitennoji Temple over there is a pre-war building that still stands, although many other temple’s buildings burned down by the bombing of Osaka during World WarⅡ in 1945.

第二次世界大戦中の昭和２０年大阪大空襲で境内のほぼ全域が灰燼（かいじん）に帰したものの、こちらの六時礼讃堂(れいさいどう)は、戦前の建物がそのまま残っています。

令和5年春から3年間かけて、この六時礼讃堂と元三大師堂は、保存修理と耐震工事を兼ねた大規模な修理工事をしています。

Over the course of three years starting in the spring of 2020, Rokujireisando and Gensandaishido are undergoing large-scale repair work that combines preservation and earthquake-proofing work.

日本の大震災と聞けば、２０１１年３月１１日の「東日本大震災」を思い出す人も多くいるでしょう。

When many people hear of the Great East Japan Earthquake, they probably remember the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011.

ちょっとタイムスリップして・・・２０１９年４月２０日に、特定行政書士の三木ひとみが当時小学四年生の息子と一緒に四天王寺の春の祭りを訪れたときの様子です。

Let me go back in time for a moment…On April 20, 2019, Hitomi Miki, a gyoseishoshi lawyer, visited the spring festival at Shitennoji with her son, who was in the fourth grade of elementary school at the time.

「東日本大震災」のときは津波被害が甚大でした。福島第一原発の建屋破損事故の経験から、原発そのものの安全性やシステムの問題点などが露呈されましたが、津波対策として画期的なものは開発されていません。

During the Great East Japan Earthquake, the tsunami damage was severe. The experience of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant building damage accident exposed problems with the safety of the nuclear power plant itself and the system, but no groundbreaking tsunami countermeasures have been developed.

震度とマグニチュードを同じように考えている人が多いのですが、この２つは全く異なるものです。震度は「ゆれの大きさ」で、現在は計測震度計で測定します。昔は、震度を気象庁の職員の体感で決めていたほど曖昧なもので、同じ町内でも場所によって震度が1くらい異なることがあります。

Many people think of seismic intensity and magnitude as the same thing, but they are completely different. Seismic intensity refers to the magnitude of shaking, and is currently measured using seismic intensity meters. In the past, the seismic intensity was so vague that it was determined by the experience of the Japan Meteorological Agency’s staff, and even within the same town, the seismic intensity could vary by about 1 point depending on the location.

マグニチュードは「地震のエネルギーの大きさ」のことです。マグニチュードが１大きくなると、エネルギーは約32倍大きくなります。つまり、マグニチュードが２大きくなると、エネルギーが約1000倍大きいという計算になります。

Magnitude refers to the amount of energy in an earthquake. When the magnitude increases by 1, the energy increases by about 32 times. In other words, if the magnitude increases by 2, the energy will be approximately 1000 times greater.

マグニチュードはエネルギーの大きさのことです。単位はJ（ジュール）で表します。他のもので例えると、マグニチュード6のエネルギーは約63TJ(テラジュール)で、これは広島型原爆のエネルギーに匹敵します。

Magnitude is the amount of energy. The unit of magnitude is expressed in J (joule). To use another analogy, the energy of a magnitude 6 bomb is approximately 63 TJ (Terajoules), which is comparable to the energy of the Hiroshima atomic bomb.

今回の能登地方の地震のエネルギーはマグニチュード７．６なので、計算すると広島型原爆の約２５１倍のエネルギーです。どれほど大きなものか想像できますか？

The energy of this earthquake in the Noto region was magnitude 7.6, which is approximately 251 times the energy of the Hiroshima atomic bomb. Can you imagine how big it is?

２０２３年の５月には日本中で震度５以上、マグニチュード５．１～６．２の地震が５回発生しました。能登地方でも、５月５日にマグニチュード６．２の地震を経験しています。

In May 2023, five earthquakes with a seismic intensity of 5 or higher and a magnitude of 5.1 to 6.2 occurred across Japan. The Noto region also experienced a magnitude 6.2 earthquake on May 5th.

これほど短い周期で大きな地震を繰り返し経験していながら、未だに地震が発生してから対応するばかりで、これまでの経験が活かされていないようにも感じます。

Although we have repeatedly experienced large earthquakes in such a short period of time, we are still only responding to earthquakes after they occur, and I feel that our past experience is not being put to good use.

大地震は起こるものだと言われ続け、「南海トラフ巨大地震は近いうちに起こる」と政府も危険視していながら、地震予知の精度は上がらないのは何故でしょうか。

Although we continue to be told that large earthquakes will occur, and even the government considers the Nankai Trough mega-earthquake to be a danger, saying that it will occur soon, why is it that the accuracy of earthquake prediction has not improved?

もちろん、地震の発生源は様々であり、地球上すべてを監視することは不可能に近いのかもしれません。でも、だからといって、できないと諦めていいものではないはずです。

Of course, there are many sources of earthquakes, and it may be nearly impossible to monitor everything on Earth. But that doesn’t mean you should give up if you can’t do it.

過敏に反応し、警告を出すJアラートに不満をいう人もいます。でも、危険に対しては過敏なほどが丁度いいのではないでしょうか。避難が少しでも遅れれば、救える命も救えなくなるのです。

Some people are overly sensitive and complain about the J-Alert warning. However, I think the more sensitive you are to danger, the better. If evacuation is even slightly delayed, lives that could be saved will not be saved.

気象庁は公式サイトのQ＆Aで、
「現在の科学的知見からは、そのような確度の高い地震の予測は難しいと考えられています。」
「一般に、日時と場所を特定した地震を予知する情報はデマと考えられます。」
と回答しています。

“Based on current scientific knowledge, it is considered difficult to predict earthquakes with such high accuracy.”
“In general, information that predicts earthquakes with a specific date, time, and location is considered a hoax.”
Above is the answer in a Q&A on the Japan Meteorological Agency’s official website.

本音はそうなのかもしれませんが、もう少し希望がある言い方はできないのだろうかと落胆します。地震は、大陸プレートの下に海洋プレートが沈み込む際に、大陸プレートを引きずり込み、大陸プレートにひずみがたまり、ひずみに耐えられなくなった大陸プレートが元に戻ろうと反発することで発生します。意外と単純なメカニズム。ただ、このプレートの規模が大きすぎるため完全な監視が難しいのが現状です。

That may be true, but I’m disappointed and wonder if there’s a way to say it with more hope. Earthquakes occur when an oceanic plate subducts beneath a continental plate, dragging the continental plate with it, causing strain to accumulate on the continental plate.The continental plate, which can no longer withstand the strain, rebounds in an attempt to return to its original position. A surprisingly simple mechanism. However, the scale of this plate is so large that it is difficult to completely monitor it.

２０２３年はAI元年といわれ、専門家だけでなく一般の人にも利用できるものが増えました。OpenAI、Microsoft、Googleなどのソフトウェア企業だけでなく、NVIDIA、Intelなどのハードウェア企業までがAIに開発投資を行うほど、地球規模でAIの発展に向かっているといっても過言ではないでしょう。

2023 is said to be the first year of AI, and the number of things that can be used not only by experts but also by the general public has increased. It is no exaggeration to say that AI is moving toward development on a global scale, with not only software companies such as OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google, but also hardware companies such as NVIDIA and Intel investing in AI development. .

AIの開発速度は指数関数的に増加し、一気に推し進められているものの、まだ娯楽の枠を超えていないと個人的には考えています。

Although the development speed of AI is increasing exponentially and it is being pushed forward all at once, I personally believe that it has not yet surpassed the realm of entertainment.

さて、４年後の冬、令和六年元日に戻ります。
伽藍（がらん：僧侶が集まり修行する寺院）の外は無料で歩くことができます。

Now, four years later, in the winter, I will return to New Year’s Day of Reiwa 6.
The outer temple grounds are free to enter.

I was happy to see a scene like this with lots of people on New Year’s day as if I’m back to the pre-pandemic era.

コロナ前のような沢山の人であふれる新年の風景を見て、嬉しく思いました。

On New Year’s holidays, you can see a lot of pieces of omikuji paper tied like this.

お正月期間中は、沢山のおみくじが結ばれています。

Omikuji is a paper slip with the result of fortune-telling of the new year written on it. To make a wish come true, people tie their omikuji like this and go home.

おみくじは、新年を占う内容が書いてある紙です。願いを叶えるために、人々はこのように、おみくじを結んで帰るのです。

２０１１年３月１１日に発生した東日本大震災は、震源が三陸沖１３０km付近ではありますが、マグニチュード９．０と日本国内観測史上最大規模、アメリカ地質調査所によれば１９００年以降、世界でも４番目の規模の地震です。

Although the epicenter of the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011 was around 130 km off the coast of Sanriku, it had a magnitude of 9.0, the largest earthquake ever observed in Japan. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, it was the fourth largest earthquake in the world since 1900.

東日本大震災は、宮城県で最大震度7を観測しました。

In the Great East Japan Earthquake, a maximum seismic intensity of 7 was observed in Miyagi Prefecture.

東日本大震災が能登地方の地震と似ているのは、①「海岸沿いの土地であるため津波の危険に晒されている」②「震度７ということで建物の倒壊による火災などの二次災害が発生する」という２点です。

There are two similarities between the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Noto earthquake:
② The land is along the coast and is therefore exposed to the risk of tsunamis.
② Since the seismic intensity was 7, secondary disasters such as fires due to building collapses will occur.

新年に初めて寺院に出向く初詣は、古くから続く日本の大切な伝統行事です。

Hatsumode is the first temple or shrine visit of the year and an old important custom in Japan.

昨年の健康と幸福に感謝し、新年も良い年であるよう祈るため、神社や寺院に参拝します。
People pay a visit to a shrine or temple to appreciate the last year’s health and happiness and to pray for the new year to be a good year as well.

四天王寺は、この世の全ての人々を救済するという誓いを果たすため建立されました。

Shitennnoji Temple has been associated with all people’s welfare since its founding.

重要文化財指定の石舞台は１８０８年の再建で、創建年は不詳です。

This stone stage is called Ishibutai. It was re-built in 1808, but no one knows when it was first built.　Ishibutai is one of Japan’s Important Cultural Properties.

地上３００メートル、日本一の高さを誇る超高層複合ビル「あべのハルカス」が見えます。大阪の最新と最古の観光地を同時に確認できる写真です。

There is Harukas, Japan’s tallest 300 meters high tower building. You can see one of Osaka’s newest and oldest tourist attractions at the same time in this picture.

「阪神・淡路大震災」のときは高速道路が倒壊し、周囲の家屋も全壊したため、瓦礫が緊急車両の進行を妨げました。消火活動や救助活動が難航したことが、甚大な被害を出した要因ともいえます。

During the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the expressway collapsed and surrounding houses were completely destroyed, and the debris blocked the progress of emergency vehicles. The difficulty in extinguishing fires and rescue operations was a contributing factor to the extensive damage.

これを機に、瓦礫の中での救助活動を迅速に行うため、四足歩行ロボットやドローンなど飛行デバイスの開発が進んだのです。

In the wake of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, development of quadrupedal robots, drones, and other flying devices advanced to quickly carry out rescue operations amidst the rubble.

コロナ禍において多くの変化がありましたが、今年は以前のように沢山の屋台が出ていました。

Many things have changed since the pandemic started, but this year, there was the same scenery, lots of shops selling food and so on.

屋台の食べ物はとても健康的・・・というわけではありませんが、楽しくてわくわくします。屋台で多いのは、焼きそば、お好み焼き、おでんなど、様々な地元の名物です。

Yatai food is not the healthiest, but it is always fun and exciting. The most common stands will offer yakisoba, okonomiyaki, oden and various local specialties.

江戸時代から、人の集まりやすい道に並ぶ屋台の文化がありました。屋台は露店とも呼ばれる、祭りや行事の間の一時的な店舗です。

Since the Edo period, these yatai have sprung up along busy roads. Yatai is also called roten and it is a temporary stall set up during matsuri or events.

AIは「人間の知的能力を模倣する技術で、コンピュータがデータを分析し、推論や判断、最適化提案、課題定義や解決、学習などを行うことができる」ものです。AIの特徴の中でも、「大量のデータをもとに予測を立てること」ができる点はAIの最大の利用価値ではないでしょうか。

AI is “a technology that imitates human intellectual abilities, allowing computers to analyze data, make inferences and judgments, propose optimizations, define and solve problems, learn, etc.” Among the characteristics of AI, the ability to make predictions based on large amounts of data is probably its greatest utility value.

日本が誇る世界最高水準のスーパーコンピュータ「富岳」は、地震の定量的評価を目的とした統合的な予測システムを構築するために、２０２０年４月から運用され、そのシステムの社会実装に向けて研究が続いています。

Japan’s world-class supercomputer “Fugaku” has been in operation since April 2020 to build an integrated prediction system for the purpose of quantitatively evaluating earthquakes, and is working towards the social implementation of the system. Research still has been continuing.

弾き出される地震発生確率は、１０年以内に３０%程度のような精度にとどまります。

The accuracy of the predicted probability of an earthquake occurring within 10 years is only about 30%.

「富岳」の計算能力は突出していると思いますが、それを利用するのは人間であり、計算の元データを与えるのも人間です。

I believe that Fugaku’s computational ability is outstanding, but humans are the ones who use it, and humans are the ones who provide the raw data for calculations.

日本では、すべての屋台の衛生環境が適切に保たれています。

All yatai have generally good hygiene conditions in Japan.

歩いているといい香りが漂ってきました。何を食べようか、選ぶ楽しみが屋台の醍醐味。

Looking around, I smelled something good. Yatai offer a lively atmosphere in which to eat your meal.

屋台が出店するためには、営業許可を取得する必要があります。そのための申請書を作成することもまた、私たち国家資格者行政書士の仕事の一つです。

We gyoseishoshi lawyers are certified experts authorized to prepare documents to be submitted to a public agency in order to take a special authorization for these stands to be there.

The premises of Shitennnoji Temple are huge.

四天王寺の敷地は広大です。

四天王寺の五重塔は何度も倒壊し、現在の五重塔は１９５９年に再建されたものです。

Shitennoji Temple Pagodia was destroyed several times and this was rebuilt in 1959.

「人間が想像しうる範疇の計算を高速で行う」ことができるのが「富岳」であり、人間の想像しえないことを「予測」することはできないともいえます。

“Fugaku” is capable of “carrying out calculations within the range that humans can imagine” at high speed, and it can also be said that it cannot “predict” things that humans cannot imagine.

この部分をAIで補完できないものでしょうか。AIは、純粋にデータから予測を行うので、突飛な予測をすることがありますが、それを人間が見たときに新たに気づくことがあると思うのです。

Isn’t it possible to supplement this part with AI? AI makes predictions purely from data, so it sometimes makes unconventional predictions, but I think humans will notice something new when they look at them.

There you can see Shitennoji’s west gate. It has a quite famous stone torii.

四天王寺の西大門が見えてきました。西大門の鳥居は有名です。

Nightshot of Shitennoji Temple. The gate of Shitennnoji Temple is open 24 hours on day. You can worship from the outside of the hall freely anytime.

夜の四天王寺。四天王寺の門は２４時間開いているので、お堂の外からのお参りはいつでもできます。

The west gate was believed to be the gate to Gokuraku jodo. This stone torii was made in 1326!

極楽浄土への入り口と考えられていた西大門。この石鳥居ができたのは、なんと１３２６年。

This is another version with smaller font, more words of Hitomi Law Office’s 2023 New Year card. The year of the rabbit went to an end and the year of the dragon began.

こちらは、少し文字のフォントを小さくして文字数を増やした、令和５年行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所の年賀状別バージョンです。兎年が終わり、辰年のはじまりです。

Traditional Osechi Ryori is an array of dishes with auspicious associations of longevity, health and prosperity, customarily presented in layered lacquer boxes.

御節（おせち）料理は、しきたりとして漆の重箱に詰められ、長寿、健康、繁栄を願う縁起の良いいわれが沢山ある伝統的な料理です。

Osechi is generally prepared in the period leading up to omisoka and gradually consumed over the first three days of New Year so that mothers can take a break from kitchen duties.

おせちは通常大晦日にかけて準備します。そして、三が日で少しずつ食し消費することで、世の母親たちは台所仕事から束の間の休息を得られるわけです。

New Year table wouldn’t be completed without zoni which is a traditional soup with rice cake called mochi and vegetables.

正月の食卓は雑煮なしには語れません。雑煮は伝統的な汁物で、餅と野菜が入っています。

Ingredients in zoni vary widely throughout the country, depending on not only region but also household boasting a favored flavoring.

雑煮の材料は全国各地、実に多種多様です。地域差だけでなく、家庭によっても自慢の好みの味付けがあるものです。

There’s an old Japanese saying which goes “The whole year’s plans are made on New Year’s Day”, and this is one of the reasons many Japanese make New Year’s resolution.

日本には、「一年の計は元旦にあり」という古くからの諺があります。新年の抱負を掲げる日本人が多い所以でもあるでしょう。

I make a New Year’s resolution every year since starting the foundation of Hitomi Law Office in January 25th, 2018.

私は２０１８年１月２５日に行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所を設立して以来、毎年新年の抱負を掲げています。

Here are Hitomi Law Office’s three resolutions for the year 2023.

２０２３年の行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所の新年の抱負はこの３つでした。

1．DX化推進による更なる業務効率化
Improve our business efficiency by DX.

Digital transformation or DX is the process of leveraging the latest technologies and solutions.

DXとはデジタルトランスフォーメーションの略で、最新のデジタル技術を仕事や生活に取り入れていくことです。

Needless to say, digital mature companies are more resilient and better equipped to navigate rapid change.

言うまでもないことですが、ITに強い企業は急速な変化に対応できる柔軟性、実力を持っているといえる時代です。

Developed digital strategy enables to achieve better financial outcomes by reducing wastes and save time.

進化したデジタル戦略を実践していくことで、無駄を省き、新たな時間を創造し、より良好な経営に繋げることができます。

２． スタッフの心身の健康維持と幸福倍増
Promote health and happiness of our employees.

As it is important to balance work and wellness, we’d like to offer workplace wellness programs this year.

仕事と健康の両立は大切なことなので、今年は行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所の福利厚生を充実させます。

３．大阪府行政書士会の改革
Do something new to change the Osaka-fu Gyoseishoshikai

When there is an obstacle or opponent to beat, it increases the motivation to win.

This year, we will focus not only in our Hitomi Law Office but also in making a revolution and new wind to Osaka-fu Gyoseishoshikai.

今年は、行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所のことだけでなく、大阪府行政書士会の改革にも臨み、業界に新しい風を吹き込みます。

In the past, protests of small numbers of people are easily ignored, but today, just a handful of people can foment a revolution using information technology.

昔は少数派の声を響かせることは困難でしたが、現代においてはITを活用することで、わずかな人数でも革命を起こすことは可能です。

昨年の新年の抱負は、概ね達成することができました。

We were able to achieve most of our New Year’s resolutions last year.

そして、今年、令和６年の行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所の抱負がこちらです。

And here are the aspirations of Hitomi Law Office for this year, Reiwa 6.

１．恒常的な雑務にはAIをさらに活用し、相談対応など人間ならではの行政書士業務により注力する。

We will make more use of AI for routine miscellaneous tasks, and focus more on gyoseishoshi lawyers’ work that only humans can do, such as responding to consultations.

２．行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所のスタッフの幸福度倍増計画ふたたび
We will again double the happiness of the staff at Hitomi Law Office.

３．大阪府行政書士会のみならず、国民生活に密接にかかわる業務を担う国家資格、行政書士が所属する業界への貢献。
Contribution not only to the Osaka-fu Gyoseisohshi-kai, but also to the industry to which gyouseishoshi lawyers, who are nationally qualified, are responsible for work closely related to people’s lives.

ＡＩ技術が予想をはるかに超えるスピードで進化していることから、人間の知能を超える「シンギュラリティ＝技術的特異点」が近い将来到達する可能性も指摘されていますが、行政書士法人ひとみ綜合法務事務所は、私たちの仕事を奪われるとか、いずれ行政書士がＡＩに支配されるのではといった不安は全くありません。

As AI technology is evolving at a speed far exceeding expectations, it has been pointed out that there is a possibility that a “singularity” (technological singularity) that exceeds human intelligence will be reached in the near future.
Hitomi Law Office has no worries that our jobs will be taken away or that our law related services will be controlled by AI someday.

AIの突飛な予測を見て「まだ使いものにならない」という人も多いのですが、突飛な予測には人間が気づかない点に目を向けるチャンスが隠れていると考えます。

Many people look at AI’s unconventional predictions and say, “It’s still useless,” but we believe that unconventional predictions have hidden opportunities to focus on things that humans don’t notice.

確かに、現在のAIは完璧とは言えず、改良の余地は大いにあります。AIの発展の流れは加速している今だからこそ、この流れに乗らない手はないでしょう。

It is true that current AI is far from perfect, and there is a lot of room for improvement. The trend of AI development is accelerating, so there is no reason not to jump on board.

When we meet someone for the first time in the new year, we say “Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu”, which means “Happy New Year!”

新しい年を迎えて初めて人に会うときは、『あけましておめでとうございます』と挨拶します。

Shishimai is approaching us!!　This is usually a quiet tea salon “eu” at Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka.

獅子舞が近づいてきました！シェラトン都ホテル大阪の喫茶店eu、いつもは静かな喫茶店です(笑)。

ちなみに、これは昨年の獅子舞！

By the way, this is last year’s lion dance!

Shishimai is a traditional Lion Dance performed in Japan on New Year’s Day to bring good luck in the year ahead.

獅子が舞い踊る民俗芸能の獅子舞（ししまい）は、新しい年の幸せを招くものと伝えられています。

風林火山という言葉をご存知ですか？

Have you ever heard of Furinkazan?

風林火山とは、戦いの際に勝ち続けるための動きを指南する言葉です。

It is the battle strategy referred to as Furinkazan describing what it takes to constantly improve and achieve success.

中国古代の武将・孫武（そんぶ）は、左右前後を多数の敵に囲まれても、率いる部隊を勝利に導いたと言われています。

Even when outnumbered and against all odds, Chinese strategist and tactician Sun Tzu led his army to victory.

孫武の戦術は甲斐の戦国大名・武田信玄に採用されました。

This battle strategy was adopted by the Japanese feudal lord Takeda Shingen (1521-1573AD).

転じて、風林火山は、物事の対処の仕方において、適切な動き方を意味する熟語となっています。

Furin kazan features what is required to attain victory.

動くべき時には、風のように迅速に。

Fu means wind. “As Swift as the Wind.”

動くべきでない平常時には、林のように静観。

Rin means forest. “As Silent as the Forest.”

いざ行動を起こすときは、烈火の如く侵攻。

Ka means fire. “As Fierce as fire.”

守るべき時には、山のようにどっしりと構える。

Zan means mountain. “As Immovable as a Mountain.”

現代においても、この「風林火山」は成長と成功を志すあらゆる場面で、役立つ考え方だと思います。

I believe this proverb works for all people who seek progress and success in their chosen way.
